India plans to purchase 40 new aircraft( Su-30MKI) in the latest variant of Sukhoi Super.



 





Indian Air Force intend to purchase the latest variant of the Su-30 MKI Super Sukhoi with the likes of New cab AESA radar scan active, using elements reduced to radar detection. 




Su-30MKI cost is estimated at 3.77 billion, and their delivery is expected to begin in 2015.

Local media have speculated that the aircraft will be equipped to carry nuclear weapons, as well as the latest Brahmos missile.

In addition to the Su-30 MKI, the future Indian Air Force will be equipped with 126 French Dassault Rafale multirole aircraft. They are, according to current plans to replace Russian interceptors MiG-21.
 
India a few years tend to get in their region air superiority over the forces of the PRC and Pakistan. Recently, it was decided to create a new squadron of Su-30 MKI to the border with Pakistan.
