Chima LT-3 Laser / Satellite Aided Inertially Guided Bomb







The LT-3 is the most sophisticated guided bomb developed to date by Chinese industry. This weapon combines a satellite/inertial guidance package in a tailkit derived from the LS-6 250 kg glidebomb, and a gimballed proportional navigation semi-active laser homing seeker.

PLA's Xianglong UAV test


The greatest feature of Xianglong UAV is that it has taken the rare even wing, which in the history of Chinese aircraft design is a bold breakthrough. Hong-5 light bomber

The first prototype was completed in 1960.A small team kept the program alive until it was re-opened in 1963, when production was shifted to Nanchang. The first flight finally occurred on 4 June 1965. Series production began in 1969, with squadron delivery starting in 1970.

About 1,000 aircraft were produced, 600 of them being the updated Q-5A. A small number, perhaps a few dozen, Q-5As were modified to carry nuclear weapons; these are believed to retain their internal weapons bay. A long-range Q-5I, introduced in 1983, added a fuel tank instead of the internal weapons bay, compensating for that with the provision of two additional under wing pylons.

Russian Air Force Takes Upgraded Su-27s Intended for China

  Sukhoi has delivered 12 Su-27SM(3)s to the Russian air force. The aircraft were originally intended to be supplied as subassemblies to China under a contract signed in 2009, and the last delivery was made in late December. The airframes were assembled at Sukhoi’s KnAAPO plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur from parts originally manufactured for what was meant to be a second batch of 95 airframes in the Chinese order for 200 Su-27SKs. However, China took only the first 105 Su-27SKs, most of which were assembled in China from Russian kits.

J 11 fighter training in Pakistan
